Objetivos
This course is based on the application of the theoretical concepts lectured in the UCs of Biofuels, Biorefinery, Separation Processes II, Instrumentation and Control and Petrochemical Products Transformation in several laboratory experiments. It is intended that in this course, students acquire the following skills: - Plan, execute, develop and optimize experiments in the area of the several referred UCs. - Interpret results of experiments that highlight some of the fundamental concepts of the same UCs. -Correlate theoretical models taught with the proper applicability in the treatment of experimental results. -Handle material /specific equipment used the experiments. -Assess the importance of the accuracy of measurements performed. - Develop a scientific report clearly and objectively

Fórmula de cálculo da classificação final
15% lab work 1+ 15% lab work 2+ 15% lab work 3 +10% lab work 4 + 10 lab work 5 + 35% lab work 6
The class context (lab notebook, collaborative participation in laboratory classes, presentation and discussion of the report) will be evaluated together with the report referring to each laboratory work.
Lab Work 6 is the development of a mini-project where the student improves the capacity for autonomy and critical analysis of the work.
Observações
The components of the evaluation of this UC fit into an exception regime, since they can only be carried out in a continuous evaluation regime in the context of laboratory classes of mandatory presence (according to the RAA of ESTBarreiro / IPS), and cannot be done through written tests. exam times.
