Ph.D. in Molecular Biology (2012) from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica, ITQB NOVA). Bachelor in Biology (2005) from the Universidade de Évora and Master in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (2018) from the Universidade de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências. The domain of specialization is plant molecular biology and bioinformatics. His research interests focus on the molecular mechanisms regulating plants' adaptation to environmental challenges, with a focus on tree species.
