Objetivos
To interpret representations of the terrestrial surface, knowing the elemental magnitudes to observe.
To apply the methods, techniques and equipment of observation that allow the representation and topographic monitoring, in the support to the development of projects.
Recognize methods that use the image for the cartographic representation.
Recognize the importance of Geographic Information Systems as a support tool.

Métodos de ensino e atividades de aprendizagem
After theory concepts the students solve some problems. In addition there is a individual and a team work completed outside class (execution of a survey). Thus, in the classes the student will learn the methodologies used for calculating and then individually or in groups, to translate concepts into practical execution. The main practical work consists of survey to execute a topographic map.
