Objetivos
- Understanding the importance of drawing as a methodological tool to solve graphic problems.
- Knowledge of orthogonal and axonometric projections.
- Interpretation and execution of construction drawings, coordinating written and drawn parts of a project with the execution of the work.
- Domain of CAD software.
- Interpretation of the geometric shape of a land based on a topographic representation.
- Evaluation of distances, areas and volumes of a terrain, based on cartography.
- Performing topographic surveys with leveling equipment and total stations and corresponding graphic representation of the terrain.

- Standardization in Technical Drawing (formats, dubbing, legends, symbols and graphic expression conventions).
- Graphing scales.
- Projections (notions and projection systems).
- Orthogonal projection systems (European method and American method).
- Axonometric system (types of axonometric representation).
- Representation in sections (types, interpretation and rules of representation).
- Drawings dimensioning.
- Analysis and interpretation of construction project components.
- Computer aided design (CAD).
- Fundamental notions of geodesy, cartography and topography.
- Land representation methodologies.
- Analysis and treatment of topographic information (distances, areas and volumes of land).
- Topographic surveys: leveling, surveys and deployments with total station, graphic representation of surveys.

Fórmula de cálculo da classificação final
In the same academic year, approval can be obtained by modules: Technical Drawing (items 1 to 9 - 55%) and Cartography (items 10 to 13 - 45%).
Continuous evaluation:
- Technical Drawing Module: Regular Exercises (30%) + Test 1 (items 1 to 8 – 40%) + Test 2 (item 9 – 30%).
- Cartography Module: Regular Exercises (40%) + Test 3 (item 9 to 13 – 40%) + Fieldwork 20%.
Final Assessment: Exam (100%).
- In the final assessment, the grades obtained in the two modules in continuous assessment can be counted: Technical Drawing (55%) and Cartography (45%).
