Objetivos
- Understanding the importance of drawing as a methodological tool to solve graphic problems.
- Knowledge of orthogonal and axonometric projections.
- Interpretation and execution of construction drawings, coordinating written and drawn parts of a project with the execution of the work.
- Domain of CAD software.
- Interpretation of the geometric shape of a land based on a topographic representation.
- Evaluation of distances, areas and volumes of a terrain, based on cartography.
- Performing topographic surveys with leveling equipment and total stations and corresponding graphic representation of the terrain.

Fórmula de cálculo da classificação final
In the same academic year, the UC assessment can be obtained by modules: Drawing (items 1 to 9 – 60%) and Cartography (items 10 to 13 – 40%).
Continuous evaluation:
NF = 60% Drawing Module (20% Regular Exercises + 40% Test 1 (items 1 to 8) + 40% Test 2 (item 9) + 40% Cartography Module (30% Regular Exercises) + 40% Test 3 ( items 10 to 13) + 30% Field Work)
Final Assessment:
NF = 100% Exam
OR 80% Exam + 20% (CAD Design Component – item 9)
OR 60% Exam + 40% (Cartography Component – items 10 to 13)
OR 60% Exam + 40% (Technical Design Component) – items 1 to 8)
OR 40% Exam + 60% (Drawing Component – items 1 to 9)
OR 20% Exam + 80% (Technical Drawing Components – items 1 to 8, and Cartography – items 10 to 13).
Observações
In the evaluation components “Present Participation” corresponds to the “Regular Exercises” of the final classification formula.
Fieldwork is the work, carried out in groups, corresponding to a topographic survey. The grade of the different members of the group can be different according to the performance obtained in the discussion of the group work.
