Fernando Manuel Fontinha Camilo completed his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2020 at the University of Lisbon - Instituto Superior Técnico, having been Unanimously Approved with Distinction. He also obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2011 from the School of Technology of Setúbal.
He works in the field of Engineering and Technology, with a focus on Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Computer Science. In his academic activities, he collaborated with 9 co-authors on scientific papers. His research interests lie in the areas of power systems, photovoltaic energy, integration of renewable sources into the grid, and the operation of high-renewable energy generation systems.
He has published numerous papers in international journals such as the International Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems, Sustainable Cities and Society, IET Renewable Power Generation, Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, IET Generation, Transmission & Distribution, Journal of Energy Storage, Solar Energy, and Energies.
