Programa
The UC Portfolio will be held over the 6 semesters of the Degree. It comprises a set of activities that, together, should amount to 162 hours of individual work. In group work, the specific intervention time of each student will have to be identified.
Each activity:
1. It will be characterized by a theme, a duration, and a supervisor;
2. It cannot count, partially or totally, for the evaluation of another CU of the course;
3. It must be previously approved by the head of the UC;
4. The supervisor must be an IPS professor;
5. It will be subject to a report that will be evaluated by the RUC and the activity supervisor;
6. It must have a relevant theme for the Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Without prejudice to the analysis of the relevance of other types of activity, the following types of activity are considered particularly relevant:
1. Participation in research, development or service projects, with or without the collaboration of entities external to ESTSetúbal;
2. Small projects launched each semester from a perspective of integration and application of knowledge;
3. Participation in seminars or short courses, with the seminars being counted with twice the hours of their duration, up to a maximum of 54 hours (2 ECTS);
4. Participation in socially relevant initiatives.
