Objetivos
The main objectives of the work to be developed are:
- Integrate knowledge acquired transversally to the various subjects of the course, through the use of this knowledge as the basis for the development of an electronic circuit design project.
- To give the student skills for work integrated into a team.
- Allow the student to develop knowledge and skills in the design of electronic systems and circuit simulation.
- Provide the student with knowledge and skills in the field of printed circuit board design.

Métodos de ensino e atividades de aprendizagem
Students must execute a project that requires the use of knowledge acquired. The project is carried out by a group of students and accompanied by a teacher. The evaluation takes place in 3 phases:
1. Elaboration and formal presentation of a report with the project specifications. The proposed solution should present, among other aspects, technologies to be used and the system block diagram.
2. Preparation and presentation of a report describing the system developed, including schematics, simulations, and printed circuit board design.
3. Final report and formal presentation of the project developed.

The assessment takes place in 4 stages:
- Test work on a printed circuit board and documentation of results. Elaboration of a formal report with the specifications of the project to be developed in the semester. The proposal must present, among other aspects, technologies to be used and a block diagram of the system based on boards available on the market.
- Preparation and presentation of a report with the description of the developed system including the respective customized solution schematics and simulations.
- Preparation and presentation of a report with the design of the printed circuit board, its 3D representation, listing of components, costs and production restrictions.
- Final report and formal presentation of the developed project.
In phase 1 the classification will be determined according to the performance of the group during the tests carried out and the respective documentation and in the specification of the project and the quality of the report.
In phase 2 the classification will be determined according to the quality of the designed circuit, the relevance and quality of the simulations carried out and the fulfillment of the specifications of phase 1.
In phase 3 the classification will be determined according to the quality of the designed board, the correct justification of production restrictions and the components chosen considering the fulfillment of phases 1 and 2.
In phase 4 the classification will be determined according to the final report presented and the performance of the group during the presentation and discussion of the work.
Fórmula de cálculo da classificação final
- NF = 0,2*Fase1 + 0,2*Fase2 + 0,2*Fase3 + 0,4*Fase4
Provas e trabalhos especiais
The holding of tests in the special period for finalist students, working students and association leaders, is subject to enrollment in the Academic Services according to the current regulations. The evaluation in the special period requires the execution of an individual practical project to be determined by the course professor. Students who intend to register to carry out the practical assessment at this period will have to inform the responsible teacher of their intention before the last fortnight of classes to schedule the individual project calendar and determine the conditions for carrying out the project, which will essentially be based on autonomous work.
Avaliação especial (TE, DA, ...)
Working Students, High Competition Athletes, Associative Managers and Students under the Law of Religious Freedom must contact the person responsible for the UC, during the first fortnight of classes, to present their relevant specificities, as provided for in the respective legal diplomas.
Melhoria de classificação
The grade improvement is subject to registration at the Academic Services in accordance with the regulations in force. The grade improvement requires prior discussion, with the course professor, to clarify which aspects of the project will be improved and is subject to the presentation of a new report and new presentation of the project under conditions to be determined.
Observações
Attendance regimeThe student is subject to absences and may miss a maximum of 10 hours of laboratory practice classes and 2 hours of tutorial orientation classes. Students with student worker status must contact the course professor during the first fortnight of class to determine the best plan to apply on a case-by-case basis.
