Métodos de ensino e atividades de aprendizagem

Lecture, by the teacher, with the support of transparencies, and presentation of case studies.

Seminars can be scheduled on more specific topics, given by industrial experts.

During the classes, the layout of lighting cabling and sockets will be prepared, as well as the power estimation  and the design of electrical boards for a small electrical installation up to 3 floors, without elevators, with a garage and a commercial area.

A writing memory will also be prepared regarding the dimensioning of cables as well as the selection of protection equipment.

After the delivery of the report, a discussion will be held where each group will justify all the calculations performed as well as the options adopted by each of the groups.

Obtenção de frequência

Delivery and discussion of the final report and ongoing evaluation.

Continuous assessment (AC) - During the semester, mini-tests or oral assessments will be made during the class.

Mandatory attendance of at least 75% of class hours (T/P+PL).

Fórmula de cálculo da classificação final

Final Grade (NF)

NF=(0.85*NR+0.15*AC)-AE

NF - Final grade (greater than or equal to 10)

NR- Report grade (weight of 85% greater than or equal to 10)

AC - Continuous assessment (15% weight)

AE - Delay in project delivery (less than or equal to 10).

Avaliação especial (TE, DA, ...)

The general formula for calculating the final classification is applied.

Melhoria de classificação

In case of grade improvement, the general law for the NR component is followed. In this situation, a new project will be assigned and provided to the student when enrolling in the academic office. The delivery of the project to the teacher will be until the day of the assessment included in the special period exams calendar.
