Métodos de ensino e atividades de aprendizagem

The concepts and basic techniques are taught in the classroom and include the presentation of practical case studies and exercices. This component takes 2/3 of the contact time and is evaluated by tests/exam. The laboratorial component, 3/5 of the contact time is composed by a set of small projects designed to allow the training in the development of microcontroller based systems using hardware platforms and software development tools with large dissemination.

Designation Tempo (Horas)
Estudo autónomo 41,00
Frequência das aulas 75,00
Trabalho laboratorial 46,00
Total: 162,00

Obtenção de frequência

The attendance to the laboratory classes is mandatory. More than 3 absences will lead to failing approval.
Laboratory works are realised by groups composed of two students.
The attendance of the TP classes is recommended.

Fórmula de cálculo da classificação final

All students must sign up the CU page on the Moodle platform.

Continuous evalutation
Final grade  = 0.3 * NT + 0.6 * NL +0.1 * NMTF

All the evaluation components must have a minimum of 9.50 values.

NT - average of the tests' notes - two tests (offline) will take place during the semester;
1st test  - 29th november 2021
2nd test - 10th january 2022

NMTF - average of the notes of the mini formative tests - 5 to 6 mini formative tests will be realised by the students autonomously online;

NL - average of the laboratory works - 4 laboratory works will be realised during the laboratory classes and with autonomous work;

Exam evaluation
Final grade  = 0.4 * E + 0.6 * NL

All the evaluation components must have a minimum of 9.50 values.

E - grade of the exam;

NL - average of the laboratory works - 4 laboratory works will be realised during the laboratory classes and with autonomous work;

The grade of each laboratory work is composed of 30% for the group report and 70% for the individual grade (attendance, punctuality, knowledge presented during the classes and during the oral individual evaluation).

The students can only attend to the laboratory class they have enrolled in.

Avaliação especial (TE, DA, ...)

Students that have TE (working students) status can request the a personalised evaluation calendar in the beginning of the semester if they cannot attend the laboratory classes. Nevertheless the evaluation of this component should be finished until the end of the classes of the semester. Those interested in this evaluation method should contact the UC responsible professor during the first week of classes.

Observações

All students must sign up the Moodle's CUs ACM-LEI and ACM-Tn, where n is the class number.
