Objetivos
Provide basic mobile application skills so that students are able to design, deploy, test, debug, and deploy mobile applications that leverage local data storage, sensor information, and respect basic privacy and security rules.
Resultados de aprendizagem e competências
The predominant methods:
Theoretical classes:
• Expositive, using slides.
• Demonstration, using a computer and / or mobile device for demonstration of examples.
• Interrogative, using questions posed to the students during the exposition of the subject or demonstration of examples.
Laboratory Classes:
• Active: orientation of students in the autonomous development of exercises and practical work in groups of two students throughout the course unit.

Métodos de ensino e atividades de aprendizagem
The predominant methods are:
- Expository, using examples. At the beginning of each practical/laboratory assignment there shall be a small lecture of the concepts necessary for its development. Students are then encouraged (with supervision of the teacher) to develop their work, helping them to assimilate the theoretical concepts.
- Active: guide students in the development of an autonomous project in groups of no more than two students, along the course.
In Distance Learning (EaD):
- Complementary tools to Moodle in synchronous sessions: MS-Teams, Colibri / Zoom.
- Presentation of content in synchronous sessions: reading documents, video lessons, demonstrative or explanatory videos and online tutorials.
- Learning activities in synchronous sessions: solved or unresolved exercises, with solutions, exercises or unresolved questions, without solutions, interactive exercises, forum and / or chat in Moodle and questionnaires.
- Tools used in asynchronous mode: Moodle and MS-Teams.
- Asynchronous content presentation: reading documents, demonstrative or explanatory videos and online tutorials.

The "Avaliação Contínua" requires a minimum attendance of 75% of classes.
Students with the Student Worker status who can not attend in class should indicate it by email to the person in charge of the course as soon as possible. Students with the status of Student Worker have access to continuous assessment without attendance in class (except at mandatory assessment times). The deliveries of the various works are carried out by Moodle and the deadlines for delivery are the same for all students.
The course has a number of mandatory assessment sessions: one test (in continuous evaluation), two presentations (in continuous evaluation), oral discussion of practical assignments (two in continuous evaluation, one in the normal and one in the evaluation period) (normal, resource and special times). The lack of any of these moments of evaluation implies the zero mark in the element (test, practical assignment or exam) to be evaluated.
In Distance Learning, attendance is controlled through a survey of students, in Moodle, available in each class.
In "Época de Recurso" the TPs are different from the TPs of the "Época Normal".
In "Época Especial" the TPs are different from the TPs of "Época Normal" and of "Época de Recurso".
Access to the tests and examinations is done by enrolling in Moodle.
In "Avaliação Contínua" it is necessary to obtain the minimum grade in TP1, to continue in Continuous Assessment in TP2.
Fórmula de cálculo da classificação final
Avaliação Contínua:
Final Grade = 50% [CT] + 50% [CP] >= 9.5 points out of 20 points
[CT] = 30% [Σ Qn] + 70% [Test]
[CP] = 70% [TP1] >= 7.0 points + 30% [TP2] >= 7.0 points
Época Normal:
Final Grade = 50% [CT] + 50% [CP] >= 9.5 points out of 20
[CT] = [ExamENor]
[CP] = 70% [TP1] >= 7.0 points + 30% [TP2] >= 7.0 points
Época de Recurso:
Final Grade = 50% [CT] + 50% [CP] >= 9.5 points out of 20
[CT] = [ExamERec]
[CP] = 70% [TP1*] >= 7.0 points + 30% [TP2*] >= 7.0 points
Época Especial:
Final Grade = 50% [CT] + 50% [CP] >= 9.5 points out of 20
[CT] = [ExamEEsp]
[CP] = 70% [TP1**] >= 7.0 points + 30% [TP2**] >= 7.0 points
Where:
[CT] = Theoretical Component Grade
[Qn] = Quiz n grade
[Test] = Test grade
[ExamENor] = Época Normal exam grade
[ExamERec] = Época de Recurso exam grade
[ExamEEsp] = Época Especial exam grade
[CP] = Practical Component Grade
[TPn] = Practical Assignment Grade. Each Tin has a minimum grade of 7.0 points out of 20 points
* In Época de Recurso the TPs are different from the TPs of the Época Normal
** In Época Especial the TPs are different from the TPs of Época Normal and of Recurso
In the "Avaliação Contínua", the practical assignments may have obligatory presentations for the class in the several phases (see practical assignment).
In the "Avaliação Contínua", the practical assignments may have a obligatory oral discussion with the teacher in the various phases (see practical assignment).
In the evaluation in "Época Normal", "Época de Recurso" ou "Época Especial", the practical assignments may have compulsory oral presentation and discussion with the teacher (see practical assignments).
Access to the tests and examination is done by enrolling in Moodle.
In "Avaliação Contínua" it is necessary to obtain the minimum grade in TP1, to continue in Continuous Assessment in TP2.
Avaliação especial (TE, DA, ...)

Melhoria de classificação
Grade improvement only in Época de Recurso and upon registration. Grade improvement implies doing the TPs + Exam.
