Objetivos
It is intended that students acquire training in the context of work in a company, allowing them to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the course.
Resultados de aprendizagem e competências
Deepening of various learning and skills obtained during the course, including:
- Communicate and interpret technical documentation in English.
- Interpret and implement management and communication techniques.
- Apply mathematical concepts for the creation of movements, trajectories and animation of characters and other elements present in video games.
- Analyze, design and present mockup, ideas, concepts and relative mechanics
to the creation of new multimedia applications and video games.
- Implement and adapt support scripts to the logic and mechanics of a video game or multimedia application.
- Implement video games and multimedia applications using graphics engines and/or APIs.
- Create textures, audio clips, three-dimensional models and other resources using authoring tools.
- Implement video games and multimedia applications for personal computers, taking into account the characteristics of existing hardware and operating systems.
- Implement video games and multimedia applications for the Internet and/or the Web, taking into account the requirements of this type of architecture.
- Implement video games and multimedia applications for mobile devices, taking into account their physical limitations and interaction impositions, and using their sensors.
Demonstration of a set of important attitudes for professional practice, namely:
- Ability to act ethically, rigorously, professionally and with a sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work autonomously, individually or in a team, assuming a collaborative and assertive posture.
- Demonstrate initiative and critical thinking, managing to respond to current and unpredictable technical challenges
- Demonstrate responsibility in complying with technical and institutional standards

Métodos de ensino e atividades de aprendizagem
Initially, an internship plan is defined, which should include the main skills to be developed and the objectives to be achieved. This plan should also include the type of tasks to be carried out and the main technologies to be used.
The course of the internship is monitored by an advisor from ESTSetúbal/IPS and by a supervisor designated by the company, and must be carried out in accordance with this plan.

According to the faculty regulation, the final classification is obtained as follows:
- Internship performance (50%)
- Internship Report (40%)
- Presentation and discussion (10%)
Approval in the UC is obtained with a classification equal or greater than 9.5 values, rounded to the nearest integer.
