Develop the capacity for strategic analysis/diagnosis;
Provide students with knowledge about strategy formulation;

Distinguish strategic from tactical and operational activities. Be able to carry out the internal and surrounding diagnosis, as well as the SWOT analysis. Know how to apply in specific cases the analysis of the five forces of attractiveness of the sector and Porter's generic strategies. Know the elements of diversification strategy, products-markets, vertical integration, internationalization, etc. Be aware of strategy implementation issues. Know how to evaluate and control the implementation of the strategy. Be aware of sustainability and CSR issues.Modo de trabalho

1. Continuous assessment: Final grade in continuous assessment = 0.6 mini-tests grade + 0.4 papers/cases grade. The score mini-test average ≥ 10 values. Minimum test score ≥ 7 values The works/cases will be presented orally and in writing by the students (all students who are part of the group) according to the presentation plan (lesson plan) determined by the teacher in the first class.
