Objetivos

The Internship aims to enable the student to acquire professional skills in the area of the course, varying the specific skills with the area of each internship.
The internship will take place in companies/entities with activity in the areas of the course.

Resultados de aprendizagem e competências

At the end of the course, students should be able to:
- Prepare a Curriculum Vitae adapted to the company/entity to which you intend to apply;
- Know the most appropriate behaviors during an interview;
- Integrate into a real work environment;
- Interact with other people in a real work environment;
- Demonstrate technical skills in the training areas of the course in a real work environment;
- To be able to prepare an internship report;
- Effectively communicate the results and conclusions of the work carried out to third parties;

Pré-requisitos (conhecimentos prévios) e co-requisitos (conhecimentos simultâneos)

Those required by ESTSetúbal/IPS internship regulations.

Programa

The Curricular Unit will have, in a first phase, a set of seminars to prepare for the internship in company/entity, where topics such as the preparation of the CV, the preparation for an interview and the preparation and presentation of the internship report will be addressed.
The internship program in each student's company/entity will be defined on a case-by-case basis.

The student will be supervised during the internship by a company/entity supervisor and an ESTSetúbal/IPS supervisor.

At the end, the student must prepare and present a report of the internship carried out.

Fórmula de cálculo da classificação final

A jury with elements from ESTSetúbal/IPS and the Company/Entity will evaluate the internship, the report and the presentation and will assign a final classification.

Observações

Once registered, students can start their internship after meeting the conditions required in the ESTSetúbal/IPS internship regulation.
The company/entity where the students develop the internship is assigned by the professor responsible for the curricular unit, after hearing the student.
The internship plan is defined by the supervisor and the internship supervisor, after consulting the student.
