All professionals working in the health sector are faced with questions, problems and situations that in some way concern the people involved as human beings. Even decisions of a technical nature are taken in the context of situations with relevant ethical dimensions. Specialisation does not exempt us from a holistic, interdisciplinary and pluralist approach to problems involving complex ethical, social and personal issues, in the context of the democratic and plural societies in which we live.
