Objetivos
Provide students with simplified methodologies for analyzing the structural components of an aircraft.
Resultados de aprendizagem e competências
At the end of the curricular unit the student must:
Know the various types of: structural elements, supports and loads;
Know how to solve static equilibrium problems;
Know the different structural components of an aircraft, its function and the loads to which they are subject;
Know how to calculate tensions and deformations in simple beam models;
Calculate the critical Euler load of columns with different conditions of support.
