Objetivos
This UCs main objective is to allow the students to train while working in a company, and making them to put into practice the knowledge acquired throughout the course.
Resultados de aprendizagem e competências
The internship contributes to the academic and professional development of the student, as it works as a preparation tool where it is possible to apply the knowledge obtained in the UCs in a real work environment and thus acquire the appropriate skills to practice the profession.

Pré-requisitos (conhecimentos prévios) e co-requisitos (conhecimentos simultâneos)
The student must comply with the rules for access to the internship defined in the respective regulations and other official documents, namely with regard to the number of ECTS already completed in the course attendance.
Programa
The internship lasts 700 hours (approximately 4 months) and the student is accompanied by a supervisor (appointed by the internship company) and a supervisor (a professor at ESTSetúbal/IPS) during the internship.
During the internship, the student must follow the workplan agreed between the advisor and the internship supervisor, which must be in accordance with the professional activity of the company and with the objectives of the course and its curricular units.
After the end of the internship, there should be a public discussion of the internship report, prepared by the student with the help of the advisor/supervisor.

Approval in the UC is obtained with a classification greater than or equal to 9,5 values, rounded to the nearest unit.
Observações
The student can complete the UC Internship if he/she has no more than 3 UC in arrears, and must have approval for the UCs that confer the necessary skills for the development of the Internship work.
