Objetivos

Reinforce and consolidate the professional component of the course by applying the knowledge acquired in the area of Web programming, Devices and Mobile Applications in a real work context. Direct and facilitate the insertion of the student in the job market.

Resultados de aprendizagem e competências

During the internship, the student must follow a work plan (agreed between the person in charge and the internship supervisor), which must be in accordance with the professional activity of the company and with the objectives of the course and its curricular units. It is intended, therefore, that the student acquires the appropriate skills to practice the profession in a real work environment.

The student must comply with the rules for access to the internship defined in the respective regulations and other official documents, namely with regard to the number of ECTS already completed in the course attendance.

Programa

The program consists of the student's integration and involvement in the company's activity, the latter associated with one or more areas of the course in Web programming, Devices and Mobile Applications. The objectives that are intended to be achieved with the completion of the internship and the responsibility of the parties involved, are contained in an internship proposal initially defined between the person in charge and the internship supervisor. The activity developed during the internship must be reflected in the writing of the Internship Report and in its public presentation.

The student is accompanied by a supervisor appointed by the company and by an ESTSetúbal/IPS advisor during the internship.

Obtenção de frequência

At the end of the internship, the student will have to present a report on the activity carried out (Internship Report), and make a public presentation in accordance with the Internship Regulations and/or other official IPS documents. The final evaluation considers the classifications obtained in the Internship Report, in the public presentation and in the classification issued by the internship supervisor and advisor. All evaluation elements are subject to a minimum rating of 9.50 out of 20.

0.60 x supervisors' internship rating+
0.30 x report rating +
0.10 x presentation rating

Partial classifications are presented with two decimal places and the final grade is an integer value.

Trabalho de estágio/projeto

Attendance: The student's schedule will be the company's working hours with mandatory attendance within the limits imposed by the IPS regulations.

Observações

Students wishing to apply for the degree must have the report and presentation submitted by July 20th, otherwise it will not be feasible to appoint the jury and schedule the presentation in good time to meet the deadline for submitting the application.
