Métodos de ensino e atividades de aprendizagem
In the classes the participative method is adopted, being privileged the interactive formation even in the introduction of theoretical concepts. It is intended to lead students to draw conclusions, guiding them in this process.
The UC has a laboratory component, aiming to illustrate in practice the theoretical concepts transmitted. In the laboratory classes, the students execute experimental works according to protocols supplied, performing specific claculations or justifying the observed results. In these classes the experimental and collaborative method (group work) is put into practice.

Working-Student students (with recognized TE status) who do not attend laboratory classes (or who miss more than 1 laboratory work, will obligatorily take a laboratory exam (to be scheduled in due course) within the scope of activities carried out in the laboratory and in accordance with the sheets distributed, in each class, for training the concepts associated with each laboratory. Approval to the UC implies obtaining the defined minimum grade, 7 val., with a weight of 30% in the overall assessment.

Avaliação especial (TE, DA, ...)
Students who attended the laboratories in the year 2021/22 are granted frequency to them, being assigned the grade obtained in that academic year. However, if they wish, they can attend the laboratories again, subject to the ongoing evaluation.
Students from previous years who have not obtained frequency in the theoretical component, do not have frequency in the laboratories and will have to carry out the same evaluation defined for TE students.
Melhoria de classificação
It is only possible to perform grade improvement only at the time of Appeal
Observações
The Professor reserves the right to convene an oral presentation whenever he deems it necessary.
Students with a grade ≥ 17 will be subject to an oral
