Métodos de ensino e atividades de aprendizagem

This UC adopts the Project Based Learning (PBL) methodology that is a characteristic of the PWDAM TESP. In this UC will be implemented a methodology based on practical work in permanent integration with an integrated project. In this way, it is intended to contribute to an increased student motivation and stimulate a taste for creativity and learning.
It is a theoretical-practical curricular unit, whose dynamization is based on the study and discussion and presentation of topics / cases in each class. Besides the presentation and discussion of cases, the practical component implies the elaboration of a business plan and the creation of a virtual company which in itself requires a lot of work throughout the semester. At the end, the business plans will be presented.

Obtenção de frequência

According to the General Assessment Standards and the decisions of the Pedagogical Council. For the 2021/2022 academic year, by decision of the Pedagogical Council it was defined that to perform a UC in continuous assessment the student has to attend a minimum percentage of 75% of classes (by typology).
Students who intend to attend continuous assessment must be enrolled in the subject and have their situation in order.
Special assessment situations can be made through oral test.
Until the end of the second week of classes, students with special statuses (student worker, association leader, religious freedom, parental regime, high competition, etc.) may contact the head of discipline to discuss any specific situations and their implications in the assessments.

Fórmula de cálculo da classificação final

The assessment of knowledge will be carried out in the continuous assessment modality under the PBL methodology. It assumes the attendance and the regular/systematic work of the student in class and is composed of three elements:

(1) T - a test taken in class (35% of the final mark), 15 December
(2) TGi - Intermediate Group Work that corresponds to the resolution/elaboration and presentation of two cases/group works (25% of the final grade) and
(3) TGf - Final Group Work that corresponds to the elaboration of a business plan (40% of the final mark)

Formula for calculation of final mark:
Teste*0,35+TGi*0,25+TGf*0,40)

The cases/themes of the work distributed to the groups must be prepared at home and presented in class.

Students have to hand in a copy of the solved work/case in writing (mention the topic, names and numbers of the students involved, course and year/semester) not later than one week after the presentation.

Test structure:
16 multiple-choice questions (16X1=16 values)
16 True/False questions (16X0,25=4 values).
