Objetivos

It is intended that students acquire workplace training in a company, allowing them to put into practice the knowledge acquired throughout the course. In this sense, the Internship course aims to:

- Enable students to apply the knowledge acquired during the course, through analysis and problem-solving in a work context.

- Provide opportunities for students to develop specific skills related to their area of study.

- Offer students opportunities to develop social and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, communication, etc., in a business context.

- Development of specific skills (examples include: programming in various languages; user interface development; knowledge of different frameworks relevant to software development; modeling and manipulation of data for application creation; good programming practices).

Métodos de ensino e atividades de aprendizagem

Initially, an internship plan is defined, which should include the main skills to be developed and the objectives to be achieved. This plan should also include the type of tasks to be carried out and the main technologies to be used.

The course of the internship is accompanied by an EST advisor and a supervisor designated by the company, and must be carried out in accordance with this plan.

Fórmula de cálculo da classificação final

De acordo com o regulamento em vigor, a classificação final é obtida da seguinte forma:
- Desempenho no estágio (50%)
- Relatório de Estágio (40%)
- Apresentação e discussão (10%)

A aprovação na UC é obtida com classificação superior ou igual a 9.5 valores, arredondada às unidades
