Objetivos
It is intended that the student acquires advanced theoretical knowledge of chemistry, which support the preparation of specialized technical reports with clear, concise, and complete information. This curricular unit also aims to allow the future professional superior technician in Chemical and Biological Laboratory to perform the experimental work with awareness of the scientific bases that underlie it. Thus, the curricular unit is divided into 3 complementary training areas that allow deepening knowledge in chemistry, both at the general level, both in the theory of chemical connection and at the level of the main chemical balances.

Métodos de ensino e atividades de aprendizagem
Presentation of theoretical concepts with presentation of examples. Resolution of exercises.
The evaluation can be performed by continuous assessment or by examination.
The Continuous evaluation will consist of the resolution of exercises throughout the semester (20%), the performance of group work (20%) and 3 tests (20% each).
The evaluation will be the same even if the UC passes to face teaching class. In online tests and exams there will be oral validation test of the evaluations higher than 9.5/20
In the assessments students must have the camera on. They must also have an element of idenfication.
If any indication of fraud is detected, the assessment test will be canceled.
