With the "Technical Drawing" the student should acquire a basic training in the field of technical drawing and develop a flexibility in understanding and implementation of designs, necessary for its future path. Another objective is to learn assisted computer drawing.
The contents of the unit are structured in accordance with its objectives, where the student must learn to use the language of technical drawing at the level of civil engineering in: topographical drawings,
drawings of roofs, building technical drawings (plans, sections, elevations and construction details). At the end it is also intended that student to acquire skills in the area of computer aided design where should apply the knowledge acquired throughout the discipline through a final work.
Chapter 1- 1 week
Introduction to the Technical Drawing. Normalization - objectives and importance. Materials, formats of leaves, captions, square and folding.
Chapter 2
Orthogonal projections - dihedral and trihedral system of projection.Three-dimensional representation - orthogonal and oblique projections. Circumscribed or involving parallelepiped and Coordinates methods.
Bi-dimensional representation - 1º and 3º Dihedral method
Chapter 3
Technical Drawing. String types and stroke groups. Elevations, Cuts and Sections. Graphical representation of some materials in cut. Scale and dimension.
Chapter 4
Project elements. Elevations, cuts, and plants. Roofing design. Constructive Details.

Introduction to the CAD Systems. Technical Drawing Aided Computer
