Objetivos
1. Recognize the importance of standardization and certification of the quality of products and processes.
2. Identify technical standards and documents for quality control of materials and construction processes, as well as interpret inspection and testing plans and verification and control sheets.
3. Recognize the importance of preserving natural resources and environmental constraints.
4. Identify national legislation and European directives related to the environment, as well as understand the instruments related to Environmental Impact Assessment and environmental management.
5. Generalize sustainable construction practices and implement mitigation measures in the construction phase.
6. Identify the types of construction and demolition waste and recognize the contents of the waste prevention and management plan.

1 Quality:
1.1. Quality in construction.
1.2. Concepts and legal and regulatory framework.
1.3. Quality control on site (Responsibilities, Planning Techniques, Control of products, services and processes of suppliers, as well as of various phases of the work, Support documentation).
Environment:
2.1. Introduction to the Environment (Concepts, Norms, National Legislation and Community Directives).
2.2. Environment and Sustainable Development (impacts, resources, waste, pollution, impacts on the climate, environmental policies and sustainable development).
2.3. Construction and the environment (Sustainable construction; Challenges for different actors in the construction activity; Technologies and practices for energy efficiency; Impacts in the execution phase of works, such as dust, noise, sludge, visual impact, occupation of public roads, among others and consequent mitigation measures; The Life Cycle; European Union environmental strategy for sustainable development).
2.4. Construction and Demolition Waste Management: (Legislation; European Waste List; Waste prevention and management plan; Sorting and hazardous operations, packaging, transport, final destination, reuse and recycling of CDW; Examples of good practices in waste management construction and demolition waste).
2.5. Environmental management (ISO 14000 International Environmental Standards and standards applied to environmental audits; Environmental Management Instruments; Environmental Impact Assessment).
