Objetivos
Consolidate and apply in the context of work the theoretical and practical knowledge (laboratory), skills and attitudes acquired in the school component relevant to the exercise of professional activity. Perform activities under guidance, using techniques and equipment within chemical and biological laboratories.

The work to be developed by the student in the training in the context of work that will take place in the form of internship will comply with the established in the internship plan (objectives to be achieved, activities to be performed and scheduling of the same). This plan is previously established and agreed between the advisor of the promoter and the advisor of ESTBarreiro/ IPS.

The internship takes place during working hours, in companies/institutions with which collaboration protocols have been established with ESTBarreiro/IPS. The monitoring and control of training in the context of work is carried out through periodic meetings between the student, the teacher-advisor of ESTBarreiro/ IPS and the advisor appointed by the institution where the internship takes place.
