Objetivos

This course is based on the application of the theoretical concepts lectured in the UCs of Transport

Phenomena II, Oil Field Chemistry and Corrosion, Materials, Rock Mechanics and Mechanics of Materials in the Petroleum Industry in several laboratory experiments.

It is intended that in this course, students acquire the following skills:

- Plan, execute, develop and optimize experiments in the area of the several referred UCs.

- Interpret results of experiments that highlight some of the fundamental concepts of the same UCs.

-Correlate theoretical models taught with the proper applicability in the treatment of experimental results.

-Handle material /specific equipment used the experiments. '

-Assess the importance of the accuracy of measurements performed.

- Develop a scientific report clearly and objectively

Fórmula de cálculo da classificação final

f

NF=20% chapter 1+ 20% Chapter 2+ 20% chapter3 + 20% chapter4 + 20% chapter 5

Grade for each chapter = 30% classroom performance + 70% report (or arithmetic average of the reports for that chapter)

Observações

The Assessment Activity "Classroom context" refers to the active and proactive participation of the student in group work in order to achieve the objectives of the laboratory work.

The laboratory work corresponds to 5 Chapters. .  If a student does not perform an indicated work during the continuous assessment period, a null classification will be assigned to that work.

In terms of individual assessment of group work, it is indicated that:

- A different classification can be assigned to students of the same group, during the oral discussion of the reports, based on the answers of each student showing different degrees of mastery of the contents of the work carried out.
