Spatial context can improve the user experience of mobile technology and enhance the relevance of the information manipulated. This focus has been applied to Decision-making processes based on geolocalised information, location-based services, natural resource management, water management, digital cultural heritage, sustainability, and climate change (with a focus on energy efficiency) and adapting mobile information systems according to spatial context.
