Dynamic, creative, and curious neuroscientist, with more than 15 years of experience in scientific research, research management, and higher education. Research topics span from neurodegeneration (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson's, and Niemann-Pick type C), neurobiology (anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress), and HIV, to the development of probiotics for hypertension in Danish biotech. In parallel, I have been actively engaged in several NGOs focused on having a positive impact on the world and people’s lives, by designing activities aimed at either increasing society’s scientific and health literacy or directly empowering communities and young people in fragility contexts to access higher education. I am passionate about analyzing complex scientific information, translating it into useful takeaways and communicating with different stakeholders including medical doctors, marketers, investors, peers, and the public
