Understand the impact of design on the competitiveness of organizations. Understand the relative importance of optimizing existing processes and products as compared to optimizing by design.
- Diagnose problems and choose the best design techniques, identify resolution steps.
- Know how to apply the techniques of Creativity, Design Thinking, Analysis of functions, Evaluation of Ideas in a design process.
- Know how to use methods of listening and evaluating customer requirements
- Know how to apply the QFD technique in product planning.
- Know how to apply the FMEA technique in the design phase of a product.
- Know how to apply the most common methodologies of Experience Planning.
