Objetivos

Currently, companies and institutions have computer networks permanently connected to the internet. Ensuring the integrity, confidentiality and availability of data and its routing on the network is a daily task for IT managers and technicians.

In this course unit, various security aspects that must be addressed in the design, implementation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure are addressed. Practical mechanisms for real-time monitoring of the operation of computer networks are also studied.

This course aims to provide students with knowledge about the main Operating Systems used in the implementation of Network Services. It is also the objective of this UC to transmit knowledge about the characteristics of the server hardware and its hosting.

    Knowledge of programming, relational databases and web application development;

The minimum grade in the Windows Server Practical Test is 9.5 values. This assessment is individual.

The minimum grade in the Project on Linux Server is 9.5 values. This assessment is carried out in groups of 2 elements. days.

35% Windows Server + Practice Test
25% Project on Linux Serve
