Objetivos
This course aims to equip students with theoretical and practical knowledge based on the operation, constitution and repair of Internal Combustion Engines (MCI) and their different organs and systems, through the knowledge transmitted and direct contact with the equipment and parts that make up, as well as through researching information in the literature and the Internet.
Resultados de aprendizagem e competências
The UC aims to provide students with detailed knowledge about the constitution and functioning of the different systems and mechanisms that make up an Internal Combustion Engines (MCI) engine, through theoretical and practical knowledge transmitted and direct contact with the equipment. Students should know how to identify the different systems/mechanisms/parts, their characteristic failures and their causes.
Modo de trabalho

Métodos de ensino e atividades de aprendizagem
Use of the expository-interrogative method, leading students to reach conclusions.
Students have direct contact with the laboratory equipment, to understand its constitution and functioning, through observation and general description of the organs and their functioning, and to prepare the reports, other available resources are also used (literature, Internet, etc.) for information search.
