Métodos de ensino e atividades de aprendizagem

The classes have a theoretical-practical typology, aiming at the operationalization of concepts. The participated, interactive exhibition method is adopted.
It seeks to lead the student to learn through the active resolution of illustrative exercises, and to draw conclusions autonomously, guiding him in this process.

Obtenção de frequência

The student may choose for continuous assessment or exam:
1. If the student wishes to be evaluated by examination: Normal Season and/or Appeal Season, obtaining approval with a mark equal to or greater than 9.5 val.

2. If the student chooses continuous assessment, the student will take two tests throughout the semester:
1st test: December 14 (class time)
2nd test: January 27 (class time)
(These dates need approval by the Pedagogical Council)

To obtain approval, the student must have a mark equal to or greater than 8.5 val. in each test and an average greater than 9.5 val. in both tests.

With a score equal to or greater than 8.5 val. in the 1st test, the student can recover the assessment of the 2nd test on the Normal Season exam date.

To perform the curricular unit in continuous evaluation, the student must have a minimum attendance of 75% of classes.

Fórmula de cálculo da classificação final

FC = E
or
FC = (T1 + T2) / 2

FC - Classificação Final Classification
E - Exam classification
T1 - 1st Test classification
T2 - 2nd Test classification

Avaliação especial (TE, DA, ...)

-Students with the status of "Worker student", high-competition athlete, association leader or students under the religious freedom law must send an e-mail to the teacher in charge (carla.gamelas@estsetubal.ips.pt) until the second week of the semester, in order to present their relevant specificities, in accordance with the provisions of their diplomas.

Melhoria de classificação

The student may improve the classification in Appeal Season, and for this purpose the student must enroll in the Academic Division.

Observações

-Clarification of Doubts: Tuesday, 13h.
IMPORTANT: Students who wish to clarify doubts on a given day, should send an email to the teacher responsible (carla.gamelas@estsetubal.ips.pt) until the previous business day, indicating this intention.

It can be scheduled clarification of doubts online (via ZOOM), in a day/hour to be combined with the student.

-The support materials (slides and exercise sheets) can be found in Moodle 2021/2022.

-The use of mobile phones during classes and evaluation tests is prohibited.

-Students who wish to consult the evaluation tests (test or exams) must send an email to the teacher in charge (carla.gamelas@estsetubal.ips.pt) until the week before the next test, expressing the intention to exercise this right.
