Objetivos

• Know the main concepts of business finance.
• Analyse, understand and record the impacts of financial operations on the equity situation.
• Prepare information for the preparation of financial reporting documents.
• Understand the fundamental notions and techniques suitable for pursuing economic and financial analysis.
• Know and know how to characterize the financial structure of organizations.
• Know and know how to characterize the main sources of business investment. • Know and apply the main methodologies for analyzing and selecting investment projects.

The student should be able to interpret a financial statement, develop an economic-financial analysis and evaluate an investment project.

Necessary knowledge of Business Management and Economics.

Introduction, Sistema de Normalização Contabilística (SNC), Financial management and fundamental concepts. Performance Analysis. Investments.
Important information: please note that most of the topics in this course are only relevant in Portuguese language, because of accounting and tax rules are specific to Portugal.
