Métodos de ensino e atividades de aprendizagem
Theoretical-Practical ClassesTheoretical exposition of the subject matter followed by problem-solving sessions aimed at facilitating understanding of the material and its application.
Practical-Laboratory Classes
Conducting experimental work, data processing, and report writing.
Laboratory work complements the concepts introduced in theoretical-practical classes by analyzing real data. Reports are prepared for the experiments conducted. The work is carried out in groups, which allows for the acquisition of collaborative work, communication, and leadership skills.
Resources
Moodle platform, where the most important activities include: Study material repository, discussion forums, submission of laboratory assignments, conducting tests and exams, and announcement of assessment results.

Attendance at 80% of the laboratory classes is an essential condition for continuous assessment.
Fórmula de cálculo da classificação final
Assessment is divided into three tests, T1, T2, and T3, each lasting 40 to 45 minutes, and conducted in person on the Moodle platform during class time or at a time arranged with the lecturer.
- The average grade of the tests (T) is calculated using the following formula:
T = 0,30xT1 + 0,35xT2 + 0,35xT3
In this formula:
T1, T2, and T3 represent the grades of the respective tests.
T represents the weighted average of the test grades.
The minimum passing grade for the average test grade (T) is 10 values, and the minimum grade for each individual test is 8 values.
- TL stands for the arithmetic average of the laboratory assignments, with a minimum grade of 10 values; the minimum grade for each lab report is 8 values.
If a student does not achieve a passing grade in the Tests (T), or wishes to improve their grade, they must take the exam (E), with a minimum grade of 10 values. The exam will be conducted on the Moodle platform.
The final grade is calculated as follows:
NF = 30% (TL) + 70% (T or E)
A passing grade in the laboratory for the current academic year will only carry over to the next year if the final test grade is equal to or greater than 6 values.
Avaliação especial (TE, DA, ...)
Students with special statuses must provide the RUC by 2024.04.01 so that a plan for attendance/follow-up of laboratory classes can be agreed upon, allowing for the application of the UC evaluation rules.
Melhoria de classificação
According to the rules at the institution
Observações
- Attendance in laboratory activities is
mandatory. In case of inability to attend, the student must contact the lecturer in advance.
- Laboratory work reports may be returned to the group for improvement if they have not achieved the minimum grade.
- Students who do not have all the reports approved during the continuous assessment period have the possibility to submit the rejected reports until the exam date.
- If a student does not achieve the minimum grade in one of the tests, they may retake that test on dates at the end of the semester agreed upon with the RUC, or on dates defined by the Pedagogical Council for assessment.
- The weekly schedule for clarification of doubts will be published on the UC page on Moodle.
- Only a non-programmable scientific calculator and the Formulary and Tables provided by the lecturer may be used in tests/exams.
