Objetivos

Acquisition of concepts associated with energy and distributed resources, namely characterize and planing their integration into electrical networks, discussing sustainable strategies as well their technical-economic viability. It is also intended to address legislation that has been developed and under development, as well as discussing normative aspects.

Resultados de aprendizagem e competências

The Student will be able to design a Renewable Energy Production system, for connection to the Public Service Electricity Grid, consistent with the specifics of each case, taking into account the technical constraints and the appropriate functional specifications.

Métodos de ensino e atividades de aprendizagem

The teaching methodologies are essentially two, namely associated with theoretical and practical classes. Theoretical classes consist in the exposition of the programmatic contents by the teacher. In this context, there are also periods of discussion with the aim of stimulating reasoning, ability to argue and increase interest. With regard to the practical component, students should develop a project associated with the interconnection of distributed sources. This project is divided into several stages, which are completed throughout the teaching period.

The evaluation components will have the following weights in the final classification:

- Knowledge assessed in theoretical and practical tests: 35%

- Knowledge assessed by the development of a project: 65%

Tipo de avaliação

The final grade of the course unit (NF) will be calculated as follows:
- Project Grade (NP) and its discussion with a minimum grade of 10 values with a weight of 65% in the final grade (NF).
- The minimum test score is 9.5, with a weight of 35% in the final score (NF).
NF=0.65*NP +0.35*NT
- In the case of a final exam (NE) with a minimum grade of 9.5, with a weight of 35% in the final grade (NF).
NF=0.65*NP+0.35*NE
Being:
NF - Final grade
NP - Project Note and Discussion
NE - Exam Score
NT- Test score

Fórmula de cálculo da classificação final

NF=0.65*NP+0.35*NE
Being:
NF - Final grade
NP - Project Note and Discussion
NE - Exam Score
NT- Test score
