Objetivos
Students should develop skills in behavioral analysis, leadership and team management in an organizational context.
Resultados de aprendizagem e competências
1.To know the underlying factors of human behavior in organizations as well as their potential causes and consequences; the relationship between individuals and the organization (attitudes and behaviors); 2. To know the main theories about the determinants of employee behavior in the organization and its potential consequences; 3.To know how to analyze and intervene on the main factors that determine human behavior in work context, namely on motivation, satisfaction, conflicts and organizational climate; 4.To know how to manage multidisciplinary teams, to know how to enhance effectiveness and organizational efficiency through human capital; processes of group leadership; 5.To know the processes and techniques of prevention, management and resolution of conflicts. Forms of conflict management (organizational and group); 6.Culture as an instrument for the integration of employees and competitive advantages for the organization; 7.The communication processes at the individual and organizational level. Communication and participation as a facilitator of organizational change.

1 - Organizational Behavior: Organizational behavior and management of organizations; the role of personality and situational forces; 2 - Main theoretical-practical approaches on human behavior in organizations. 3 - Motivation, job satisfaction and individual performance. 4 - The dynamics of the teams: Dimensions of analysis and assumptions of productivity at work; 5 - Contingency leadership of teams: Concepts, design, analysis and restructuring of processes; 6 - Conflicts and negotiation; 7 - Culture and organizational climate: Perspectives and relevance; 8 - Communication, participation and organizational change: Process design.

Using a participatory approach, this course will be a discussion area, contemplating both the theoretical framework of themes, such as instrumental aspect of practical application through case studies. Evaluation trough written tests and group-work.

The continuous evaluation includes two mandatory mini-tests (45-60m each) performed in class and work(s). The mini-tests take place in the middle and at the end of the semester, on a date to be defined according to the time of the classes. The mini-tests are carried out in person on the school premises.It should be noted paragraph 9 of Order No. 40/President/2021 of February 25, which refers to fraud mitigation mechanisms and their consequences.

The arithmetic mean of the classification obtained in the two tests must be equal to or greater than 9.5 values and corresponds to 75% of the final score. 25% corresponds to work(s).
