Objetivos
The course unit Planning, Intervention, Quality and Warranty Management aims to characterize the automotive market in Portugal, present trends in the after-sales market and familiarize yourself with the software used in car dealerships and repair shops. The contents are organized in such a way as to allow the student to:
- Plan, monitor, evaluate, and redefine activities and resources in automotive marketing and maintenance;
- Ensure Quality and Guarantee Management.
Resultados de aprendizagem e competências
Understand the importance of workshop planning and planning techniques. Understand the need for a workshop load chart with indicators and objectives. Working with computer systems to support the car reception and repair process, as well as having an idea of how to carry out methods of categorization and control of parts in stock.
Understand the management of guarantees, legislation, regulations, benchmarks, and specific requirements for car repair, as well as the quality of the service provided.

The Quality of the service provided. Responsibility and self-control in car repair: concept and typologies. Repair tracking. Quality control tests and checks. Preparing vehicles for delivery: characteristics and specific precautions.
