Objetivos
This Curricular Unit contributes to the understanding of telecommunications systems, including the knowledge of the theory associated with electric and magnetic fields, the design, implementation and maintenance of communication systems involving different means of transmission and explanation of the operating principles of circuits present in telecommunications systems.
It also allows the development of skills in terms of signal processing and interpretation of uncertainties inherent to the measurement processes of physical quantities.Resultados de aprendizagem e competências
It is intended that students complete the course with basic knowledge about Telecommunications, which can identify the various types of physical means of communication used.Modo de trabalho

The written assessment component (tests), AE, will have a weight of 60% and the group work, TG, a weight of 40%. The final grade (NF) will be given by the formula:
NF= 60% × AE + 40% × TG
To obtain approval, students must obtain a grade greater than 10 in the AE and TG components.
The minimum grade in each of the tests is 7 values.Fórmula de cálculo da classificação final
