Objetivos
Reinforce the professional component of the course by applying the knowledge acquired in the area of Electronic Systems and Computers in a real work context. Facilitate student insertion into the job market.
Resultados de aprendizagem e competências
During the internship, the student must follow a work plan (agreed between the internship manager and supervisor and formalized in a document called internship plan), which must be in accordance with the company's professional activity and the objectives of the course and the their curricular units. It is therefore intended that the student acquires the appropriate skills to practice the profession in a real work environment.

The student must comply with the rules for access to the internship defined in the respective regulations and other official documents, particularly with regard to the number of ECTS already completed while attending the course.
Programa
The program consists of the integration and involvement of the student in the activities carried out by the company's technicians, the latter associated with one or more areas of the Electronics and Computers course. The objectives intended to be achieved by carrying out the internship and the responsibility of the parties involved are set out in an internship proposal initially defined between the person responsible and the internship supervisor. The activity developed during the internship must be reflected in the writing of the Internship Report and in its public presentation.

The student is accompanied by a supervisor appointed by the company and by an advisor from ESTSetúbal/IPS during the internship.

At the end of the internship, the student will have to present a report, the internship report, which describes the activities carried out during the internship. This public presentation is made before a jury composed of the Course Coordinator, ESTSetúbal internship advisor, and Company Supervisor, following the Internship Regulations and other official IPS documents.
The final evaluation considers the classifications obtained in the performance of the activities carried out during the internship, in the Internship Report, and the public presentation of the internship report.
All assessment elements are subject to a minimum rating of 9.50 out of 20.

= 0.60 x supervisors’ internship rating+

Partial classifications are presented with two decimal places and the final grade is an integer value.
Trabalho de estágio/projeto
The internship activities follow the planning defined in the internship plan. The internship plan is prepared before the beginning of the internship by the internship advisor and the company supervisor.
Observações
- Attendance: The student's schedule will be the company's working hours with mandatory attendance within the limits imposed by IPS regulations.
- The students who wish to apply for a degree must complete the entire report submission and approval procedure by July 19, otherwise, it will not be possible to appoint a jury and schedule the presentation to meet the deadline for applying.
