Ana Cláudia Sousa graduated in Biochemistry and holds a master's and doctoral degree in Biotechnology, where she focused on biomolecule separation. Her academic interests revolve around the field of life sciences and the "One-Health" concept, which encompasses human, animal, and environmental health. She conducts research on bioremediation in the Tagus estuary and actively participates in research projects, such as the REDWine project (BBI JU/Horizon 2020 program).
